Milwaukee Brewers Caps History

The Seattle Pilots relocated to Milwaukee suddenly in the spring of 1970. The team carried over the Pilot's color scheme and the jerseys had a very similar look.

1970-73

The "S" is replaced with an "M" and the wheat stalks are removed from the cap.The same Pilots jerseys are used with the Brewers name in 1970. The home jersey is redesigned in 1971, then both jerseys change in 1972.

The ingenious 4-fingered "mb" glove logo debuts with new jerseys. The home cap is all blue, the road cap has a yellow front panel.

Sports Specialties

Sports Specialties road caps have cloth front panels. I've never seen a game-used one, so if anyone has one, you know what to do.

In 1986 the yellow front panel cap is retired and the blue cap is used home and road.
